Meet Luxor, him and his mom have struggled with groomers before calling me. Luxor is well loved and had a accident that caused him to have an injury in his back leg and just is t a fan of his feet being touched. I am not making this to talk down on others in the industry because I believe in a community that helps each other not drags another down. Here is what I’ll say not all groomers are the same, not all businesses operate the same whether mobile or brick and mortar. Don’t be scared to ask questions and if they huff and puff about being asked these questions that’s an indication of how the interactions will go. Some groomers are great with nervous pets, some with older pets, some with puppies, some just don’t want/ can’t handle the pets that may be scared and act accordingly. I am here to bring honesty back to an industry that a lot involved feels like it’s a competition not a community. Working with animals is always a learning experience, every day we meet new pets and learn what might cause them to feel uncomfortable and act out or turn inwards. There is a price range and groomer out there for everyone
