We hate to be the ones to rain on the parade… but if you’re looking to pick up hookworms, going barefoot is one way to do it. 😅

It’s also the first of the month—which means it’s a great time for your pet’s monthly heartworm prevention reminder! It’s a self-care kind of day for Jaxon and it just so happens to be National Senior Health & Fitness Day! 🐾

Jaxon is on pain medication and visits us regularly for Librela injections to help manage his arthritis. At 12½ years young, this spry guy needed a little extra support, so he spent some time with Dr. Beth and Emma for veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (VSMT) and laser treatment.

Here he is rocking his doggles to protect his eyes during laser therapy—and of course no spa day would be complete without plenty of treats and a peanut butter cup. 💛

A little extra TLC goes a long way for our senior pets!
