Good with kids: NOTE: has been living with kids ranging from 10 y.o. to 17 y.o and has been amazing with them - that being said unsure of how he is around younger kids as he has not been around them.
MAIN CONSIDERATION/KNOWN behavioral issue: does not respect a correction from an older dog. And resource guards from other dogs. Has not shown resource guarding around humans. Has gotten into fights with a dog he currently lives with, where he has left significant wounds on the other dog (some needing sutures).
While staying at my place for a short board and train program: he did try to boop the kennel to find a way out, but we worked on changing that with ecollar training which he did great with.
I am happy to work with his new owner/family, free of charge. If they would like to pay me a rehoming fee to help cover some of my time spent on helping to find a new home, this is of course greatly appreciated! I will also posted his information on a rehoming website.
Do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions! He really is a good dog and super food motivated, just should not live in a home with other dogs (or small children in my opinion, to be on the safe side) unless with an extremely experienced and disciplined handler.
