Pip the Beach Cat

10/17/2026

Did you know we have a Seniors 4 Seniors program? It’s the purrfect way for a senior to have the love and companionship of a cat while not having to worry about the medical expenses.

S4S allows seasoned cat owners to foster a senior cat as long as they are able to properly care for the cat. Town Cats retains ownership of the cat and stays in contact with the owner by monthly visits, and facilitates and pays for any necessary vet care.

This program is a win-win for some of our older cats and seniors who want to have a pet but need a little assistance. Please share this info with anyone in their 70s or older who you think would benefit from the love of a kitty ❤️

If there was ever a time you wanted to help, the time is now. Be like Pip… foster foster foster.

Some of the worst news we could get… Our top kitten foster, who takes in half of all of our kittens and the majority of medical cases, recently had something unexpected come up and is unable to foster for the foreseeable future. We need help now more than ever!

We scrambled to find fosters to take the current kittens in that home, and now we’re REALLY desperate. We have kittens that are supposed to be coming to us with nowhere to go.

This mom and her babies need a foster, as well as so many others that now have to stay outside struggling to survive until we can find more fosters. PLEASE consider helping if you can! All you need is a small bathroom or somewhere you can set up an XL dog crate.

The feeling you’ll get knowing you’re saving little lives will make it all worth it! Please fill out our volunteer application (with additional info for fostering at the bottom) at towncats.net if you are able to help. We will be so incredibly grateful!

Pet in Cabin Alert! As some of you may know, Pip has landed back in the USA for a very short visit. (where Pip's store used to be) has graciously offered their space to us for this Tuesday, June 11th, from 5-7pm for a small little meet and greet.

So stop by anytime between those hours and if Pip's feeling it you can have a high-five!
Or visit with his humans.

Please remember we cannot guarantee that Pip will want to perform, and he DOES NOT LIKE to be touched. So high-fives and photos only.

If you would like to help Pip’s friends, please bring a 💵 donation for Town Cats or any supplies they might need like:

Purina ONE +Plus Sensitive Skin & Stomach Natural Adult Dry Cat Food, 16-lb bag

Arm & Hammer Litter Multi-Cat Strength Clean Burst Clumping Litter, 40-lb box

Friskies Classic Pate Canned Cat Food

Fancy Feast Classic Pate KITTEN
