A girls’ day out was exactly what this shelter pup needed 💕🐾
Osa’s girls day out!!
Thanks to our amazing friends at Wild Phoenix Boutique one of our dogs got to enjoy a special day around Ocean City! First stop? A well deserved pup cup ☕🐶 Then it was off for a little shopping at Wild Phoenix, followed by a stroll to the park because sometimes we all need to touch a little grass and enjoy the sunshine. 🌸☀️

We are so grateful to them for always supporting our shelter pets and giving them opportunities to get out, explore, and make special memories while they wait for their forever homes.

“Hi... I'm Tito and I used to live at Humane Society of Ocean City. I came there after spending a couple months at Cape May County Animal Shelter when someone found me roaming the streets. It was at the tail end of Covid and so many animal friends were being dropped off, so Cape May was running out of room. They asked HSOC to take me to live there and I'm so lucky they did. Everyone took such good care of me. Because of Covid, no one was able to come to see me. Luckily, my friend Phil at HSOC had the perfect family in mind for me. Not long after setting up our meeting, I was able to go home with my new family. It's been almost 4 years since that day and we are all so happy. We go on long walks every day. I have a nice, big yard where I get to run and play. And I have a family that loves me and spoils me because I am such a good boy!!!” Tito’s furever family

Abandoned and alone, Corson was said to having found wandering near Corson’s Inlet with no one coming to claim him.
We may never know what circumstances led him here, and we’re not here to judge. What we do know is that this sweet, smart boy deserved better than being left to fend for himself.

Despite everything, Corson still greets us with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. Now all he needs is a family to show him that he is safe, loved, and home for good.

Pet of the Week Corson 🐾
Imagine realizing no one is coming back for you. Corson was found alone near Corson’s Inlet in Ocean City. We searched, we waited, and we hoped someone would come looking for him. No one ever did.
We don’t know his real name. We don’t know where he came from. We don’t even know exactly how old he is. What we do know is that he’s incredibly sweet, incredibly smart, and still chooses to trust people despite everything he’s been through.

So we gave him a name. We gave him a safe place to sleep. And every day, we remind him that he matters. Now we’re hoping someone will give him what he’s been waiting for all along a family.

At just 6 months old, Reina is the last puppy from her litter still waiting for her forever home. While all of her siblings have found families, this sweet girl is still patiently hoping her turn is next.

Reina loves kids, gets along great with other dogs, and has the kind of loving personality that would fit right into just about any family. Please help OCPD find this thief. Our donors are amazing with the support and donations they provide for the animals in our care and it is truly shameful that someone would steal from homeless dogs and cats. 😞
