Jax is looking for a furever happy home. please share.

Jax went on an adoption trial and came back with notes.

According to his adopter, he was a happy guy, loved the resident dogs, and expressed himself with an enthusiasm that may have exceeded their comfort level.

He also really likes food and assumed the other dogs would not object if he sampled a little from their dinner plates. After all, sharing IS caring.
The resident dogs disagreed.

The good news? She described him as a fantastic dog with people.

At 115 pounds, Jax is a handsome, oversized gentleman who has never met a snack he didn't yearn for. He could benefit from a weight-loss journey, although in Florida's summer heat, we recommend skipping the "run a marathon" phase of the plan. Green beans, sensible portions, and moderate exercise are probably more his speed.

We’re seeking a human for Jax; one with a love for the chonky boys but a willingness to help him kickstart his wellness goals. If you’d like to meet him, visit us any time during business hours.

Our NEW shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. We’re located at 6405 Hwy 40 in Ocala, which very close to the intersection of Hwy 40 & Airport Road. marionfl.org/animal

Eddie Munster ( Eddie) aka Terry from MCAS was being fostered to Happy Tails ADOPTED!! 🥰 Eddie is a handsome senior 16 years old living a Wonderful Life. Eddie has 2 furry friends at home and has gone on a camping trip with the whole family. 💖 We are so happy Eddie has found a loving furever home. Happy Tails💝

Yuna is a very sweet, laid-back dog who is still slowly coming out of her shell. She can be nervous and shy, but is working on building confidence. She enjoys walks, rolling in the grass, and playing ball.

Peanut - 11 weeks, A379181, female
Peanut is full of personality and loves to play! Curious, energetic, and always looking for fun, she enjoys chasing toys and turning everyday moments into an adventure. Between bursts of playful energy, she loves cuddles and attention, making her the perfect mix of silly, sweet, and affectionate.

Rocky - 2 years old, A376559, Male
Rocky is an amazing tripod who doesn’t let having three legs slow him down one bit! He’s full of love, personality, and determination, adapting wonderfully and enjoying life just like any other pet. He loves being around people and approaches each day with a happy spirit and a heart full of love.

This handsome gentleman with the great ears is Finn. You can find him in Delta kennel #166. First impressions can be deceiving and this is the case with Finn. He is not comfortable in the shelter environment and can be a little reserved and guarded when first meeting him and entering his kennel. But boy once you befriend him, a whole new personality emerges. Finn loves going for walks and will kick up his heels with joy. He walked well with another shelter dog, Fenoa, who he came in with. Calm in the play yard, Finn showed that he knows sit and shake and took treats ever so gently. His leash manners are excellent and he also appears to be housebroken! Finn really needs a foster or adopter sooner rather than later. Finn is at Marion County Animal Shelter waiting for his wonderful forever home. please share.

Jax A382456 5 year old guy 115 lbs with lots of love to share. He was easy to leash and walked nicely to the play yard. He is easy going, very sweet and loved to walk around the yard. We brushed him with our hands and He loved it. He is available for adoption at Marion County Animal Services. Kennel Alpha 34. Please share. Thank you.
