Wilmington WEC Fall Classic III ✨

What an incredible week at WEC. We were honored to have so many talented horses make The Salty Mare Equine Recovery part of their routine throughout the show.

A few of the champions we were proud to support this week:

Vincente Guillen & Evolene de Carles — $10,000 Futures Prix
Christopher Coberley & Newport — $10,000 Standlee USHJA National 3’ Hunter Derby
Nikko Ritter & Livella SR — $15,000 Welcome Stake

And those are just a few of the many incredible horses who visited the spa this week.

There’s nothing better than seeing horses we’ve had the privilege of working with go on to perform at their best. We’re grateful for the trust our riders, trainers, and grooms place in us to help keep their horses feeling their best throughout a demanding show schedule.

We’re looking for someone to join the Salty Mare team!
My sister has recently moved on to pursue her career as a pilot, so we’re looking for the right person to step into her position and become part of the team.
We’re looking for someone with extensive horse experience who is confident, capable, and comfortable handling horses in a variety of settings. This person needs to have good horsemanship, strong situational awareness, and the ability to stay calm and make good decisions in a busy environment.
Personality is important to us, too. We’re looking for someone who is bubbly, outgoing, hardworking, and genuinely enjoys being around people and horses.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to travel to some of the biggest horse shows in the country, so we’d love to find someone who is excited about traveling, the horse industry, and being part of those experiences.
If you have extensive horse experience, a great attitude, and think you’d be a good fit for the team, we’d love to hear from you! Send us an email at [email protected] with a little about yourself and your experience.

Good luck to everyone running today! 🐎✨ Here’s to good memories, great friends, and a day spent doing what you love.

After the adrenaline wears off, we’ll be here for some well-deserved salt spa recovery. ❤️

Need your vehicles hauled south for the winter? This fall, our sister company, Stable Express, will be doing dedicated runs from the northeast to the Florida area hauling cars. With years of experience hauling equine, your iron horses are in safe hands with us. We will have weekly trucks running from the New England area south to Ocala, Wellington and the Sarasota areas. Give us a shout if you would like to get on our list to have your vehicles hauled down for the winter! All of our drivers hold a class A CDL. We have a clean safety record and active dot/mc numbers with high liability and cargo insurance. Need equipment moved? We also have a flatbed division. Thanks everyone for a great first year taking care of your four legged friends.
