Yesterday was a reminder of just how special the agriculture community is.

We joined so many friends and neighbors at Rock Star Arena for a heartfelt fundraiser for Mr. Wayne Brown, who is currently waiting for a heart transplant.

From roping and mutton busting to the cowboy challenge, dinner plates, cake auction and live auction, people showed up in a big way to support one of our own.

OBFS was proud to be a small part of such a special day. Thank you to Rock Star Arena for hosting and to every person who donated, participated, volunteered, bought a plate, placed a bid or simply came out to support Wayne and his family.

This is what the agriculture community does—we show up for each other. ❤️

What a finish for Aaron Vale, Thinkslikeahorse, and two talented young horses! 🌟

Aaron took the top TWO spots in the $16,999 Golden Ocala Regional Grand Prix aboard a pair of eight-year-old geldings.

🥇 Hulu — 35.893 seconds
🥈 Nimbus RFB — 36.100 seconds

We’re proud to have Aaron as an OBS Feed Ambassador and even prouder to know OBS feeds are helping fuel the equine athletes in his program. Watching these young horses develop and perform at this level is pretty special.

Congratulations to Aaron and his entire team on a great day in the ring! 👏🐴

🥉 Abby Grabowski & Norton VDL — 37.871 seconds.

It’s a ribbon mixer — and our feed mill is getting a brand-new one!

Friday, crews started taking out the old mixer, and by Monday morning, the new one will be ready to go to work making feed for you.

For us, upgrades like this are about more than new equipment. They’re about continuing to do things the right way and producing the top-quality feed our customers trust us to put in front of their horses every day.

Whether it’s textured or pelleted feed, at some point in the process it goes through the ribbon mixer, where ingredients are thoroughly blended for consistency from batch to batch.

We take a lot of pride in making our feed right here in Ocala, and we’ll continue investing in our mill, our process and our people because the quality of what goes in your feed bag matters to us.

Made in Ocala. Made with care. Made right for our customers.

What in the Feed Mill Is This? 🤔 — Who can name this part?

There’s a lot that happens before that bag of feed reaches the barn. Any idea what this part is?

We had a great day today at the Equine Institute in Ocala.

Our feed representative, Cliff Williamson, and his assistant, Gus, enjoyed visiting with everyone!

North Marion High School’s FFA Equine program students had a mini photo session with Gus… he loved it!
