🌡️☀️ Heat Stroke Can Happen Fast – Protect Your Pets! ☀️🌡️
As temperatures rise, our pets are at risk for heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Unlike people, dogs and cats cannot cool themselves efficiently, making them much more vulnerable to overheating.
🚨 Signs of Heat Stroke:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Bright red gums
• Weakness or stumbling
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Collapse or seizures
🐾 Prevention Tips:
✅ Provide plenty of fresh water
✅ Limit outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day
✅ Walk dogs early in the morning or late in the evening
✅ Never leave your pet in a parked car—even for a few minutes
✅ Make sure your pet has access to shade and cool areas
If you suspect your pet is suffering from heat stroke, move them to a cool area immediately, offer small amounts of water, and seek veterinary care right away. Heat stroke is a medical emergency and can become life-threatening within minutes.
Stay safe and help keep your furry family members cool this summer! ❤️🐶🐱
