Today the girls visited Bridgewater Park assisted living and the memory care. We started with by visiting the assisted people during their exercise class. Everyone took a pause while the girls made their monthly round so everyone could love on the girls. We then proceeded to the memory care unit where everyone was in a circle singing. Again, a pause was made and the girls were welcomed into the circle where they went around the circle giving gentle nudges and love to each and everyone. Of course, visitors asked to take the girls pictures and they obliged.

Yesterday we did a quick visit to our regular LifeCare facility as we were looking for a friend only to find out we were given the wrong rehab. People were excited to see the girls again, so soon after our last weeks visit, but we couldn’t stay. We went on to Palm Gardens, a new place for us, gave them all the necessary papers and found our dear friend. Of course the girls were in their October dresses and other patients wanted a pet or pic. We were rushed as we had our regular visit to get to at the Vines Hospital. The kids wing had a pretty full room and so many sweet comments. Several kept saying this is the best therapy ever. Wish I could take them home. This is the first time I’ve seen a poodle in real life. The kids get so excited and the pups love it. We get the same type of comments and enthusiasm in some of the adult areas. It brings joy to see how the girls help people come out of their shell. Today is a day of rest for the girls and they can enjoy this fall weather.

Today was Bridgewater Park Rehab. The girls brought lots of smiles. Staff was in pink for Breast Cancer awareness

Today at LifeCare with Ms Heather. We missed seeing Israel. He could have worn a squirrel head. The residents loved seeing the girls and many pictures were taken.

Girls in their October dresses. Two facilities today. Everyone loved their outfits and lots of pictures and petting. The first facility just received 71 people bussed in from Destin at 3:00 this morning due to the hurricane. So it was a busy place trying to get everyone fed.

Today was Wheel of Tricks at Bridgewater Park Rehab. Very nice crowd and lots of prizes were won and fun had by all. Bella did have a stubborn moment where she refused to do one of her tricks that she actually likes doing and is getting good at 🤷🏼‍♀️However, Ms Queen Bella definitely has a stubborn streak in her.

Ruby is back to health and working. We started the week with playing Wheel of Tricks at Bridgewater Park Assisted Living, then to The Glenn for lots of pets.
Thursday we visited our friends at LifeCare but Bella didn’t go cause I had a couple doc appts but Israel wasn’t going to miss his monthly photo op so he had Kevin fill in for Bella lol. Everyone was asking where is Bella.
We ended the week at Bridgewater Park Rehab where activity director, Joy, had to get her puppy love. We visited one of our favorite residents that is 103. We have been coming for a couple years but today Ms Carol worked up the courage to ask if I was Kevin’s daughter or wife and when we said wife she got so excited and clapped and said oh good I’m so happy lol. We always end our hour visit with Kim and others in the office where there are lots of treats 😊 You can see Ruby’s tongue out in anticipation when up on Kim’s lap.
