Our founders, the Thompsons, connected over a mutual love of animals, and thereafter discovered an unknown breed of horse, developed by British Gypsies, while traveling through the English countryside. Here's another fantastic photo of Dennis Thompson with three of the original import mares - Crown Darby, Gypsy Gold's Rexie and Shampoo Girl. These three ladies were all in their mid 20s in this photo and still doing well! Darby and Rexie are daughters of The Gypsy King and Shampoo Girl was a daughter of The White Horse. These ladies have all made their legacy felt all through the Gypsy Vanner breed.
