Let’s compare a commercial brand to Laurel and Odey Companion Snacks:
Commercial brand: $14.50 for 10 ounces and the second ingredient is glycerin. Glycerin is a sugar alcohol; used as a preservative and adds weight to the final product. It also causes gastric distress. Notice that the bag is only 40% protein! LOCS Legacy, LLC doesn’t believe in glycerin for pet food and our snacks are 100% protein!!! No fillers or bulking agents and definitely no preservatives!!
