Goss Family Farm We are a 4th generation 43 acre pick to order farm in Oakwood, Georgia. We do not have a storefront, but sell directly from the farm to the consumer.

There is definitely a feeling of fall in the air today. Come out to the farm and see us from 10-3! We still have summer produce this weekend, as well as our organic non gmo eggs, 100% raw honey, and cornmeal ground on an antique stone burr mill.

We are also offering our very own BOILED PEANUTS made from our 4th generation recipe. We have regular salted and Cajun today. No better pairing while watching today’s UGA football! 

Today’s vegetables are:

Red tomatoes. Medium and large,
Lemon Boy yellow tomatoes (shop favorite)
Okras
Limited supply of silver queen corn-last of the season
Cabbage
Limited yellow squash

Come out today and see us, vegetables won’t last much longer, get those tomatoes while you still can!

End of the week catch up, we are still busy at the farm and have a good supply of offerings.

We are open Saturday from 10a-3p and will have the following items available:

Korey’s internationally famous Cajun boiled peanuts

Regular salted boiled peanuts

Our first sweet potatoes of the 2026 season!

Red tomatoes, good supply, medium and large

Yellow lemon boys, medium size, good tomatoes. My favorite this season.

Okra.. yay, it’s okra

Purple hull peas, first beans of the late season, big full pods

Handful of silver queen corn still holding out. Good ears. Tender, good flavor

Honey, fresh supply poured up Friday afternoon. The bees have been busy.

Cornmeal - white dent corn, heirloom non gmo. Nothing but corn. Good stuff

Eggs, organic, non gmo, happy hens

We had such a great turnout last week for the free financial advice that we unfortunately have no more to give.. BUT as a conciliation, Korey is offering free hugs to the first 100 customers Saturday. code word to redeem your free hug: STELLAH!!!!!!

And finally, for the BIG surprise: we are finished with the build up of our 1959 Farmall Cub ice cream maker. Remember making ice cream at home when you were a kid? Grinding on that old hand churn until it was so stiff you could barely crank it anymore? Well we took a 5 gallon Amish made ice cream maker and mounted it to our 1959 Farmall Cub tractor to make one of the coolest whips in town. We will be cranking up the churn at 11:00am to make our first official batch of Goss Family Farm homemade ice cream. We will be offering FREE samples starting at 11:30 until we run out.

Howdy folks, we’re still in the garden- we have a good supply of tomatoes on shelf today, as well as fresh picked okra from our late season okra plants, small qty late season green beans. We also have a good supply of fresh organic non gmo eggs.

We are filling more honey and cornmeal this week and will have more on shelf tomorrow afternoon.

There may be a 40% chance of rain today, but there is a 100% it’s gonna be rainin corn up in the general store today. We’re out here celebrating from 10-3 today, and have the following offerings-

Korey’s internationally famous Kajun boiled peanuts
Korey’s not yet famous salted boiled peanutz.
Silver queen corn -last of the season folks, get it today
Tomatoes- big ones, medium ones, red ones, green ones
Limited supply of Lemon boy yellow tomatoes (-and we keep seeing grandad squirrel one or two away when nobody is looking). They’re going fast, get here early for those.

Okra-limited

Honey- fresh lot, just poured up

Cornmeal-all natural, white dent heirloom non gmo corn.

Eggs, non gmo organic. Free range hens, humane and ethically treated

Green beans- pole variety, pretty, big, dark green, good crisp snap. Good late season beans

We are also offering free life advice, and today only-free financial planning - just kidding, we’re a financial planner’s worst nightmare. We can turn $500 into a pile of receipts and regret in no time.
