Our Chief Animal Lover, Kula, has spearheaded her very first rescue mission! A one-eyed Pinto Pony from a kill pen in Oklahoma needs her help!
This is something she has been waiting to do for quite a while, and the time is NOW! Help us ensure this wonderful pony gets the soft landing and forever home he deserves. No more switching hands, no more uncertain future.

Rescue is just the beginning…

Meet Ibis. 🫶🏼
While he is technically safe — that was truly just the first step. His body tells a story, a sad story. Upon closer inspection, our boy needs significant medical care. Years of hardship and neglect are showing on his skinny body, and his road to comfort and stability will require long term intervention and thoughtful, patient treatment.

His needs are real, ongoing, and time-sensitive. This is where rescue becomes responsibility. And thank you for our help, Ibis is worth it!

It’s Giving Tuesday, and we are kicking off our fundraising efforts for *THE* Mustang Class of 2026.
New mustangs.
New stories.
New second chances.

Every horse stepping off that trailer is carrying a past they didn’t choose — fear, confusion, rough starts, or simply being overlooked.
Here, at Rescue Ranchito, they finally get what they’ve always deserved: time, safety, softness, and a future built on trust instead of survival.

More details to come on our new vision for what Ranchito plans to add to this rescue space in 2026 and beyond, but we have not come to this path lightly… it is based on experience, thoughtful reflection and always doing our best for the mustangs!!
