That’s a wrap on 2026 Regional Finals! It was a pretty terrific success: so proud of my horses & my students! Watch out for TLDR - scroll the pics for vibes 💃🏼🦾

Gizmo won his RMDS Intermediate 1 Final: this little powerhouse has a bright future!

Student Cassie was Reserve Champion at Training Level on 4yo Supreme Level, in both of their 3rd dressage show!

Fendi got 3rd in both of her Prix St Georges Finals in tough fields! So proud of how this mare has become a true competitor.

Last but not least, assistant trainer Elise won her class her first weekend competing in Prix St Georges, with a beautiful & harmonious test with Emeres.

As always, we had the best time despite the crazy rainy weather. We learned a lot! Already excited for next year 👀

Festival of Champions was a great experience. Barbarella finished top 10, which was our goal- I know it may sound unambitious but the horses there are *really good!

We never got her fully powered up from the 23 hour drive to the event; we were treating her for ulcers but it was not enough to really get her over it. Because of that, it was hard to get her really out to the bit from the hind leg; I was fighting for every stride, but she was doing her best, as was I.

With all of that, she still never put a foot wrong: never spooked, never shied, just went in & focused on me in the biggest environment she’s yet seen, even though she didn’t feel great. What a fantastic young mare!

Special thanks to US Chef d’equipe Christine Traurig for the warmup & schooling help. She really helped me figure out how to kindly get the best out of my mare despite her discomfort.

It was a fun & inspiring event, and I’m looking forward to future attendance!

Practicing riding double on the cargo bike to move a horse from one location to another 😁 Never stop having fun 💃🏼

Schooling video of Fendi as she starts working to move from Prix St Georges level toward the top levels in our sport. Very proud of this diligent young mare, mother to Barbarella- she’s come so far & her head is really in the game!

People have asked for a video showing more of the schooling, so I’ll put a link to a more full (12 min) clip in the comments. ☺️

Super fun weekend taking Gizmo down the centerline. Friday was a special highlight with nice power & expression in the trot tour & tempi changes. Loving building a strong partnership with this sporty guy!

So excited to have the official invite for Festival of Champions! Our home-bred mare Barbarella (Benecio x Finest/Sandro Hit,) is top 15 in the country for 5yo Dressage Horses! 🦾🥂

Fantastic show in Idaho last weekend: Fendi hit her season targets with multiple scores in the 70’s in both the PSG & the Developing horse PSG. This was the High Point for FEI, as well as second highest score off the day, after a training level Horse!

Barbarella showed her normal brilliance & gave us a solid score in the 80’s in her FEI 5yo Final. Such a joy to develop Fendi & her fab daughter, both!
