My goal is owner education. Want a well-behaved dog but don't know where to begin? Training ourselves first is the best way! I consider my work a community service and my goal is to make every dog (and owner) a happy dog, one dog at the time. Raising a respectful family dog is not accomplished by a dog trainer that comes by twice a week. It is accomplished by YOU, the owner, and benevolent leader. It’s done by how you work and how you relate with your dog, every single day.

TICK ALERT! It's HIGH SEASON FOR TICKS, and made especially so by the recent spring rains and showers. Today, we went for a hike in Tilden and Wildcat Cyn. parks. We went along one section of trail which had some grass on the sides for about 40 yards (not far!). The dog and I both came out with TICKS ALL OVER US. Within the following 30 minutes I had removed about 40, and then another dozen after we got home
