Animal Wildlife Trappers, Inc is a growing local Wildlife and Pest Management company; mainly servicing the Central Florida area. We have been in business in the Central Florida area for 8 years and have serviced over 9,000 homes since the start of our business in 2012.

Animal Wildlife Trappers, Inc - although small - is a growing business with lots of growth potential. Here, your job performance and attitude is what counts. Show us that you are self-motivated and driven and your future will be bright with our organization.

Your on-site company-provided training will help you learn the ins and-outs of Wildlife trapping. Learn how to identify Wildlife species. Learn to apprehend critters and remove them from customer’s homes. The majority of our work revolves around; Rats, Squirrels, Raccoons, Oppossums and Bats - however we do deal with other types of wildlife too. After the animals have been removed; we provide the repairs to the structure to make sure the animal cannot re-enter after we are gone.

Training typically lasts for 30-90 days, depending on performance. During training you will ride with one of our experienced Sales Technicians, or Wildlife Removal Technicians who will provide training on multiple different critters (in multiple different scenarios). Your trainer(s) will teach you how to:

*Training $14.00 per hour, then an increase to $16.00*

Functions of the job:

•Safely drive a company-provided pickup truck from appointment to appointment.
•Use the company-provided iPad to schedule appointments & followups, navigate from property to property, as well as collect payments and provide receipts to customers when needed.
•Inspect a home for critter activity.
•Identify the target critter based on evidence from your inspection.
•Remove the animal from the home using the industry leading technology.
•Seal up a structure so that critters cannot re-enter in the future.
•Troubleshoot more difficult critter issues on existing customers homes
•Handle live animals in traps using the provided PPE.

Healthcare for the team member is available after 90 days of employment. Animal Wildlife Trappers, Inc pays half of the healthcare premium costs for the Team Member only, not the family.

Paid national holidays. Paid sick time (with documentation). Paid vacation starts at 1 year of employment.

A PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING BASELINE QUALITIES:

•Professional image and communication skills. •Comfortable with handing email and phone interactions with customers as needed.
•Is comfortable with working at heights, climbing ladders and being on roofs.
•Is comfortable working in small spaces including attics, crawl spaces and basements.
•Is comfortable working in the sun/heat - it gets hot on a roof, and in attics.
•Is able to lift heavy objects and equipment when necessary.
•Is able to spell, read and write and prepare documents when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide PPE for day-to-day operations. Gloves, masks and boot covers are provided as needed. We are on the road meeting customers for a living; so in these times - PPE is a expected and required aspect of business.

The Department of Homeland Security has labeled us as an essential industry; under the classification of pest control. Animal Wildlife Trappers will remain open throughout the 14 day Orange County shut-down for COVID-19 and will continue to protect your family and property without interruption. Rest assured, our trained technicians are taking the proper precautions each day; avoiding contact, wearing gloves, wearing masks, sanitizing their hands frequently and attempting to conduct as much work from the outside of the home as possible.
