Chantal's Pet Grooming We’re back!!!! located at 48 south alpine street Oakland Maine. Please text/ call to schedule (207)313-0422

Chantal’s Pet Grooming is a full service pet grooming facility for dogs. I also offer Teeth Scaling along with many other services you may find your pet needing. My hours of operation are currently Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday 8-4pm. I am located at 48 South Alpine Street off KMD (Kennedy Memorial Drive) in Oakland, Maine. South Alpine Street is one mile from the Waterville city line on the left hand side. We have a huge 12 foot sign next to the road with our business name and a huge pink plaid dog on it. I am frequently asked what made me want to get in to this line of work and honestly I think a lot of it is because my grandparents owned a Boarding and Grooming kennel in Benton which is where I spent a lot of my time as a child. I have always wanted to do something in the pet field so I looked around my senior year in High School and took a job at a kennel where they did both grooming and boarding, and loved it. After I graduated in January of 2009 I started grooming school in Gray, Maine and graduated in September of 2009. I have worked at a wide variety of pet grooming shops and shadowed groomers from all over. My grandmother who is a groomer in Texas taught me a lot of different ways to style the dogs, a groomer in Maine taught me how to groom cats, a man from New York taught me how to groom pot bellied pigs and birds and I picked up the teeth scaling from a groomer in New York. So as you see I have learned many things over the past few years and I am learning new things daily as styles change and tools upgrade. If you have a questions or like to know any further information, you can reach me at 207-313-0422

Don’t be a jerk and allow your dogs nails to become overgrown like this…. We offer walk in nails Monday through Saturday 8-2pm for $5. If you can’t afford a minimum of five bucks a month to cut your dogs nails I’m sorry to say you shouldn’t have a dog. Seeing crap like this genuinely makes me mad. Come on people do better!

🚐 Big News is Rolling In...

We're excited to share something we've been working toward for a long time!

Beginning in August 2026, PALS will be launching a Mobile Spay/Neuter Unit, allowing us to bring affordable, high-quality feline spay and neuter services directly into communities across Maine.

For many cat owners and caregivers, transportation and distance are major barriers to accessing veterinary care. Our mobile unit will help bridge that gap by bringing services to underserved and rural communities, increasing access while expanding the number of cats we can help each year.

This is an exciting next step in our mission to make veterinary care more accessible and help reduce cat overpopulation throughout our state.

📍We'll be announcing clinic locations, schedules, and registration information on the PALS Low-Cost Feline Veterinary Service page, so be sure to give it a follow if you haven't already. That's where you'll find all the latest updates as we prepare for our first mobile clinics!

This project is only possible because of the incredible support of our community. As we prepare for launch, we're also looking for sponsors to help fund equipment, outreach, and operating costs so we can keep these services affordable for the cats and families who need them most.

Interested in sponsoring the mobile unit or learning more about how you can help?

📧 Email us at [email protected]

We can't wait to hit the road and bring lifesaving spay/neuter services to even more cats across Maine. Stay tuned—there's so much more to come! 🐾💙
