Citizen Canine The Bay Area's premiere dog daycare & boarding! Our goal is to make each dog feel as though they are on vacation filled with friends and fun.

Conveniently located near the Oakland airport, Citizen Canine is a dog hotel offering doggie day care and overnight boarding in deluxe private suites. Daily play groups in our spacious outdoor yards are supervised by a staff of loving, well-trained dog professionals. Bay Area dog owners are known for their dedication to their dogs and the important role that dogs play in many of our lives. As dog owners ourselves, the people at Citizen Canine understand this dedication. We also know it takes much more than love to deliver the expert care your dog deserves. Visit our Programs and Services page to see how our programs fit the needs of a variety of Bay Area dogs from the adventurous canine hiker and seasoned boarder to the brand new puppy just learning the ropes and the shyest dogs that need a little gentle coaxing.

“Our mission is to be your partner in providing your dog a uniquely balanced and individualized experience in a healthy and safe environment while you are away for work or travel…“
