Happy New Year a day late from Lucky K Farms. 2020 sure has been an emotional roller coaster but we didn’t let that stop us from getting a few things done around the place. Stalls were put in and now saving to get electric updated. Hopefully we will be able to get a tack room built too. Baby steps but our little barn is coming together.

Hope everyone has a great 2021 and horses bring you happiness.

Guess what starts this week at Lucky K Farms? Trailer loading and unloading lessons. Hope to have some video by the end of the week of a trained horse doing it properly and then training my 2 year old to do it.

Horses got their feet trimmed tonight. Thanks John N Kathy Duncan for coming out and doing them. Let the riding, trail riding and training begin.
I have the farrier come out every 6-8 weeks. This time was 6 due to warmer weather and lush grass. Horse’s feet grow faster when the temps get warm and you have a good feeding program.

GIVE ME A SHOUT FOR ANY RIDING LEASONS OR TRAINING YOU MAY NEED.

Rain, rain go away. I have horses to ride.

Message me if you are looking for riding lessons or even just a tune up for when show season opens back up. I am very knowledgeable in many disciplines.

If you need a judge for a horse show I can do that also!!!!

Lets get through this COVID-19 and enjoy our amazing creatures.

Hopefully this week I will have video of starting my 2 year old.

It’s a rainy day here at Lucky K. Horses will not leave the barn and Sampson Corgi is snuggled in the chair.
