This is why I do it. Normally, I don't like to hear my voice on videos, but after listening to this one, I think it has changed my mind. I can hear the happiness of helping others in my voice. I truly feel joy from watching the kids that work with me succeed.

Jade showed up to lessons today and was all like 'reins only, lady, no saddle allowed' and with mom's thumbs up, we were like let's give it a shot!' And guess what, he totally nailed it! Confidence isn't an issue for this kid, that's for sure! Lessons are in full swing and we're loving it! ❤️🐴

🐴 We're limiting July as the baby is due in August, and we don't know how I'll be feeling. We'll play July by ear!

Lucy loves attention and has a funny little habit of getting right up close to smell your face—yes, really! Don’t worry, she’s usually just figuring out who you are. That’s how llamas recognize people.
And while she can spit, it’s pretty rare—most of the time she’s just being her curious, social self. Just like Leroy, she’s not a riding animal, but her personality more than makes up for it!

Fun fact: When Lucy was born, she froze the tips of her ears—so if they look a little different, you’re not wrong! Most llamas have tall ears, but Lucy rocks her cute little nubs instead. 💛

Leroy is our mini donkey, and while you might not be able to ride him, he more than makes up for it in personality! He’s always a good time to have around and keeps everyone entertained.

Fair warning—don’t be surprised if he tries to tip you over in his quest for butt scratches. He lives for the attention! 😄

Veeda has been part of our family for 13 years and will always hold a special place in my heart as my first “real” barrel horse. She’s as correct and solid as they come, with a sweet, willing personality to match.❤️🌟

These days, my sister keeps her busy running barrels, so she may not be around for every lesson—but when she is, you might just get lucky enough to swing a leg over her!

Red is my pro rodeo horse and is best suited for our more advanced riders. She’s incredibly fun to ride, but she’s also sensitive—so she really shines with a confident rider who knows how to communicate with her in a clear simple way. She’s the kind of horse that teaches you to level up. She sure made me level up- lol. Once you figure her out and build that connection, there’s nothing like it—she’s an absolute dragon to ride! Red is a huge part of what we do here and helps riders grow in all the right ways.🐴❤️

Indy is a 22-year-old paint pony, and she’s been part of our crew for the past 6 years. From day one, she fit right in like she’d always belonged here. She’s our steady, trusty girl—the one we can put just about anyone on and know they’ll be safe and taken care of. Indy isn’t in a hurry and prefers the slow lane, making her perfect for building confidence and enjoying the ride. More than anything, Indy just loves being around her people. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the ranch!🐴🤍

First up in our Red Filly Ranch crew…

Faith is an 18-year-old red roan Quarter Horse, and she’s been with me since she was just 2 years old. I’ve had the privilege of doing all of her training, and if you can think of it—Faith has probably done it.

She’s been our steady, reliable girl for years and truly takes care of every rider who swings a leg over her. Whether you’re 3 or 75, Faith is the one you can trust. Fun fact: Faith is blind in one eye—but you’d never know it. It doesn’t slow her down one bit, and she continues to do her job with confidence and heart every single day. We are truly blessed with this heart horse.
