Sir Vronsky!

One of Northern California racing’s greatest claims, Sir Vronsky was claimed for just $3,200 before going on to win 18 races and earn over $300,000!

Pictured here is our very own Aislinn aboard Sir Vronsky at Golden Gate Fields. We’re proud to have had this talented horse spend time with us at Premier Equine Center as well Aislinn being part of our team!

Every discipline asks something different of the equine athlete—and that means the stresses on their bodies can look different, too.
From the repetitive movements of dressage and jumping, to the quick stops and turns of cutting and reining, to the speed and endurance demands of racing and eventing, each horse comes with their own rehabilitation needs.
At Premier Equine Center, rehabilitation isn’t one-size-fits-all. With a variety of conditioning and rehab options, programs can be tailored to support the individual horse, their injury, and the demands of their discipline.

Swimming is a great way to keep horses fit and strong without the concussion of traditional exercise.
Premier’s circular swimming pool provides a deep cardiovascular workout while allowing horses to swim continuous laps, keeping their heart rate up throughout the session.
It’s a great tool for rehabilitation, conditioning, or giving performance horses a mental break from their usual training.

Research shows that water-based exercise can enhance hind limb engagement, topline strength, and cardiovascular endurance, all while minimizing stress on joints and soft tissues. Whether conditioning for competition or safely returning to work post-injury, this low-impact training method may be a beneficial addition to your horse’s care.

Dr. Natalie takes a patient-specific approach, tailoring each plan to the Alta Equine Athlete’s individual needs based on performance evaluations, medical history, fitness level, and client goals.

Cooler mornings, changing leaves, and some of the best horse weather of the year.
As the seasons change, our focus stays the same — keeping each horse progressing toward their individual goals.
Happy first day of Fall from all of us at Premier Equine Center!

Veterinary rechecks throughout the rehabilitation process help evaluate progress and determine when it’s time to adjust or advance the program.
By working closely with each horse’s veterinarian, we can make sure their daily care, therapies, and exercise continue to align with their recovery.

Consistency is key

The AquaTred allows us to provide controlled, low-impact exercise while using the resistance and buoyancy of water to support strength, mobility, and conditioning.
With a consistent program tailored to each horse, we can gradually adjust the workload as they progress.

Meet the team!
Aislinn Finn is originally from Oakdale CA, she has been around horses her whole life and has lived all over the US working with both show horses and racehorses. Her favorite part of working at Premier is getting to know each horse as an individual and being a part of their improvement. Outside of Premier, she enjoys hiking, finding fun new restaurants, and still hopping on a racehorse every once in a while.
