We’ve been notified of a phone scam targeting pet owners in our area. Callers are pretending to be local veterinary hospitals, claiming they’ve found your missing pet and need immediate payment via CashApp or Venmo for “emergency surgery.”

⚠️ This is not legitimate. Carr Veterinary Hospital will never request payment through those apps.

If we ever have your lost pet, we’ll provide photo proof and speak with you directly.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and call us directly at (336)643-6115.
