In this case, chronic allergies led to itching, scratching, and head shaking, resulting in a painful ear hematoma. The good news? Identifying and treating the underlying cause is an important part of preventing it from happening again. 🐾

If your dog is dealing with allergies, recurring ear infections, itchy skin, or excessive scratching, give us a call! 📞 Our team can help determine the cause and find the treatment plan that works best for your pet. 💙

🐾 Is your pet constantly scratching, licking, or shaking their ears? It might be more than just an occasional itch.

Persistent itching can be a sign of allergies, skin infections, parasites, ear disease, or other underlying health concerns. Some signs are easy to miss, including excessive licking, chewing paws, rubbing on furniture, hair loss, redness, or recurring ear problems.

The good news? Relief is possible when the cause is identified. Early veterinary care can help your pet feel more comfortable and prevent minor issues from becoming bigger problems.

If you’ve noticed any of these signs, don’t wait—let’s work together to get your pet the relief they deserve. 💙🐶🐱

This happens more often than you might expect and cats are very good at hiding it. 🐱

This kitty came to us after his family noticed he was hiding, scooting, experiencing diarrhea, and uncomfortable when sitting. They never actually saw the problem until he arrived at the hospital.

The cause? An a**l gland abscess—a painful infection that required flushing, cleaning, and antibiotics.

For pets prone to a**l gland issues, we often recommend Glandex® to help support healthy a**l gland function. 🐱❤️😉

Did you know arthritis is one of the most common causes of chronic pain in cats? 🐱

Many cats hide their discomfort, making it difficult to recognize when they’re hurting. Signs of arthritis may include difficulty jumping, stiffness, decreased activity, changes in grooming habits, or spending more time hiding.

Solensia® is a once-monthly injection designed specifically for cats with osteoarthritis. By targeting a key source of arthritis pain, Solensia can help improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life—so your cat can get back to doing the things they love.

If you think your cat may be showing signs of arthritis, we’re here to help. Contact us to schedule an exam and learn if Solensia may be a good option for your feline companion.

Jessica is only 2 years old, but she’s already dealing with hip dysplasia and early arthritis. 🐾

After developing a limp, she came in for laser therapy to help reduce inflammation and discomfort while supporting her mobility and quality of life. ❤️

While arthritis is often associated with older pets, conditions like hip dysplasia can cause joint changes much earlier in life. Recognizing signs such as limping, stiffness, difficulty getting up, or decreased activity can help pets get the support they need sooner.
