Today 39 arrived in on transport! Most will be going to rescue, a few will be going to barn homes, but all are 100% loved. We are so excited that so many animals are getting their and can’t wait to see their ! ❤️🐾

Last week we got some horse food on our pallet from Rescue Pack ! Rachel, knowing that other rescues and orgs have pantries took a drive out to Hooved Animal Humane Society to donate the horse food to their pantry. She also got the opportunity to visit some of the animals that were onsite…including the gray at the end that got adopted! (NOT by Rachel! 😉)

This girl had the unique opportunity to be by Kayla AND Kelly. This isn’t typical, since Kayla is in Illinois and Kelly is in Wisconsin. Kayla drove Katniss from the transport to Cat Care and Rescue Inc so she could have her broken leg assessed and the rescue could begin taking care of her. After her leg amputation, Kelly’s friend, Julie, decided to this little sweetie and help with her recovery! After a to pick her up, Katniss is settling in at her foster home in and doing really well. Thank you to everyone who was part of her journey! 🐾❤️

The pantry helped a bunch of and families with food this weekend! Thank you to everyone who supported, attended, volunteered, donated…and helped us keep pets with their families! Thank you to Rescue Pack for the amazing donation and to Jasmine with Oak Park Natural Pet & Fish for letting us use your space! Right now she’s learning the ropes and helping Kayla and Kelly behind the scenes with updating our system that we use for coordination…but she’s a quick learner, so who knows what she may be doing next! Walking into Chicago Animal Care & Control for a and some asked for help using the AKC Reunite scanner donated by FCACC the company helped us get the owner info and the got him home! Yay for diversion!
