Wild birds? At just 12 weeks?

Here is young Otis, from our Dobby X Redd litter, honoring his pal Scout on a wild Montana pheasant! This litter is 🔥

Great job to Mike on giving your pup stellar opportunities to excel and use their natural ability!

Natural ability bird dogs. Enough said. Little Ruff is continuing to impress. Solid pointing on live birds now at just 12 weeks old.

This is hands down our best litter yet. So happy with the consistency of reports from all owners.

“Great bird dogs are only as great as the opportunities their owners provide them. “

Can’t wait until live action this fall as this litter will be on fire ready to cut their teeth on wild birds!

Splish Splash 💦 the pup 🐶 got her bath!

This sweet little girl is heading to her new home in Maine tomorrow. She will be part of our breeding program here at Oak Point. Looking forward to hunting with her and watching her continue to grow and develop.

The last pup leaves us on Friday. We have thoroughly enjoyed every day and every moment with these great Setter pups!

We had the great honor this week to have our good friend Jacob Perry from Superior Upland come to visit.

We talked bird dogs, grouse, woodcock, and all things upland and setters! We were able to meet Jake’s Gordy and his English Cocker! Jake was able to meet Quincy and Preachers dad, our boy Champ!

We look forward to chasing the King and Prince together soon!

While Jake was here, he picked up a pup from our Dobby x Redd litter for his pal Pete Horger! Pete will be taking his pup to the grouse state of PA where he runs his own outfitter business guiding folks on fly fishing trips and ruffed grouse and woodcock hunts! We can’t wait to see this pup develop into a legend of his own!

Thanks again Jake for stopping by! Can’t wait to do it again!

This litter as a whole has been nothing shy of perfection! All pups pointing the bird wing at 7 weeks old! Strong hunting drive and pointing instincts present at a very early age.

Of all the litters we’ve ever had, this litter is truly special and possess the strongest early point instinct. The consistency of all the pups has been remarkable. I’m excited for the early reports of live bird experiences!

As for little Holly, she is just perfect. Here she is pointing for you all! She loves people and her house manners are spot on for her age.

Looking forward to many years of companionship here in the home and in the field! We love our Holly!

Never spoil your bird dog 🤪
