Remember Winston the foster we had? He’s A Pet Profiles Rescue pooch. We knew he had megaesophagus but he was having more complications. The rescue had him scoped. It appears he has Persistent Right Aortic Arch. It causes megaesophagus. The Rescue is planning to either go to the University of Illinois or Wisconsin. We are hoping that the diagnosis is correct and he’ll be strong enough to have the surgery. This will be a large financial challenge for the Rescue and for Winston. But he is a delightful little boy that we’d all like to help. If you can donate to the Rescue, please do so.

Winston has megaesophagus. I am fostering him while his main Foster is out of town. His foster dad made him this Bailey’s chair. He is such a sweet boy. This can be a genetic defect. Schnauzers are a breed that is known to have mega esophagus. We are working to get some weight on him and get him stronger. He is a very happy boy.
