Happy Birthday to our big ole baby, Teddy! He’s had a rough start to the year but is loving life! He has two little crumb-dropping kids now, and plenty of counter surfing opportunities. He chose to spend his birthday catching bubbles, barking at delivery people, and eating ice cream with his best friends. We love him so very much and embrace the love and chaos he brings into our lives 🩵

UPDATE 4/8/26: 🚨💔 BUBBA IS STILL RUNNING and it’s breaking our hearts. 😢

📍 Last seen near Quarry Rd & Bluffside Rd – Columbia, IL

For WEEKS, this boy has been on the move. East Belleville ➡️ Fairview Heights ➡️ Shiloh ➡️ O’Fallon ➡️ Scott Air Force Base, then all the way back again, coming within blocks of home, only to vanish once more.

We held our breath, hoping he would finally make it back, but he didn’t.

Yesterday, he surfaced again in Columbia. Volunteers tried desperately to get food in front of him. Bubba is exhausted, starving, and still won’t stop moving.

💔 He hasn’t eaten properly in weeks.
💔 He is becoming dangerously thin.
💔 And now… we don’t know where he is.

‼️ THIS IS CRITICAL ‼️
Bubba needs food to survive and food is the ONLY thing that might slow him down long enough to save him.

⚠️ DO NOT CHASE. DO NOT CALL OUT.
If you see him:
➡️ Get ahead of his path
➡️ Drop food quietly and back off
➡️ Call IMMEDIATELY

This is our only chance to stop him before it’s too late.

🐾 New Small Business Spotlight: Furchild 🐾

Had the chance to sit down with Julie Rohr, owner of Furchild in Downtown District - O'Fallon IL—and it’s such a great story. What started as a 90-day leap has turned into something much bigger than a pet shop… it’s become a true community hub for both dogs and their people.

From custom bathing stations (for any well-behaved pet 👀) to a space designed for connection, this is one of those businesses that just feels right for downtown.

We are so heartbroken to hear that Cambree has gained her wings🪽

Please pray for her loved ones 💔

With heavy hearts, we share that our Precious Cambree passed away peacefully this afternoon

Cambree arrived at the hospital about three weeks ago, and during that time our family was surrounded by an incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support from friends, family, and the community. Unfortunately, her condition worsened over the weekend, and her challenges advanced at the beginning of this week.

Through it all, Cambree fought with remarkable strength and courage until the very end. She was deeply loved and will forever remain in our hearts.

Our family is profoundly grateful for the kindness, prayers, and compassion shown to Cambree and to all of us during this difficult time. Further information will be shared as we make arrangements.
