Stockworks, Inc. We are a family run business providing various livestock services and saddle horses and mules. We always have horses in various phases of training.

Stockworks provides mobile veterinary services for both large and small animals. Services provided include vaccinations, deworming, laboratory testing including heartworm tests for dogs and Coggins tests for horses, health certificates for travel, herd health, equine dental floats, examination and treatment for minor injuries and diseases, hospice care, and at home euthenasia. We ride and train ho

rses professionally and sell gentle saddle horses. These horses know a long days work but enjoy performing and trail riding. If you are looking for something specific, give us a call, and we may be able to help you in your search. Livestock services include day work, farrier services, catching wild cattle, and horse training. We also have a nice group of Border Collies to help with our work. We occasionally breed and have puppies available for sale. We also start some puppies and offer these once they learn basic cattle working commands. Some of our dogs are registered with the American Border Collie Association, but all of our dogs must demonstrate intelligence, a drive to work, and grit. Even though we breed for these characteristics, our dogs have gone on to be wonderful companions and pets and excel in other events including agility and hunting.

Jake is a handsome 10 year old, red roan gelding that stands 14 hands. Jake loves to go trail riding. He has been all through the high Rockies, prairies and town. He handles all the trail obstacles like a pro…bridges, logs, water, bicycles, strollers are not a problem. Jake rides out alone or in a group. Jake is handy around cattle… sorting or roping. He would make a great breakaway prospect. He is smooth gaited and not a “push ride”. Jake would fit a smaller adult or be a good step up for the kids. Jake loves being caught and groomed, and he has a beautiful mane and tail to take care of! Jake is good footed and we’ve rode him barefoot and shod. He is good for the farrier. Jake has been healthy and sound. He has had his teeth floated and has been vaccinated and dewormed. He is current on his coggins. He has no known vices. He gets along well with the herd, and he’s been in a mixed herd of geldings, mares and mules. Jake loads and trailers well. Call to set up a time to meet Jake.

Doc is a big, pretty, 6-year-old grey trail and ranch gelding that stands 16 hands. Doc is going to fit most ranch type work. He is a nice big circle horse. He will walk/jog the inside circle or long trot the outside. He has also been roped on… mostly 800 weights and smaller. Doc would also fit in the barrel pen or eventing. Doc likes being caught and groomed. He has excellent ground manners and loves attention. He saddles quiet and drops his head to be bridled. The farrier hot fits all 4 feet and he is vet approved. Doc is sound and healthy and has no known vices. He is up to date on spring vaccinations, deworming, Coggins, and teeth float. A pre-sale vet exam is available; done on 6/10/26... report available upon request.
