9/29/26 - Tony has received a great deal of interest. We will likely stop accepting applications tonight and begin reviewing those already submitted to find the best possible match for him.
While Tony is an adorable puppy, our priority is always finding the right fit for each dog and their new home. We are not a first-come, first-served rescue; we carefully consider every application to ensure the best match.

Hey there! Iām Tiny Tony!
I came from the streets of New Mexico, where I was brought in as a stray when I was only 4 weeks old. Sadly, I donāt know where my mom or siblings are, and I have no idea what breeds my parents might have been. Am I a Chihuahua? A Dachshund? A little bit of both? Itās anyoneās guessābut my foster mom says Iām absolutely **adorable**!
Iām currently living in a foster home with dogs and chickensāwhat a combination! š¤£ Iām a brave little guy and sometimes try to herd the chickens. A few of them know I mean business and hurry away, while the others stand their ground until I run away!
Iām great in the car, working hard on my house training, and love riding in a puppy sling on walks. I sleep nicely in my playpen and have a blast running around the yard.
Iām about 3 months old and weigh just 4.5 pounds, so these dinosaur-sized chickens absolutely tower over me! (Check the comments for proof!!)
Iām neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and ready to find my forever family.
Iām fostered in Wellington, Colorado.
