Riding beside you through sun and rain,
Through early mornings and aching pain,
There’s something special, steady, and true
In a friendship built around horses and you.
We’ve shared cold barns and dusty boots,
Late night feedings and tangled roots,
Laughing through chaos, somehow getting by,
With hay in our hair and dirt on our thighs.
You know the silence before a ride,
The nervous smile we try to hide,
The way one soft nicker can heal a day,
Or how a good horse takes stress away.
You’ve seen the tears no one else knew,
After hard falls or dreams gone through,
And still stood there with a helping hand,
Together beside the horses we stand.
Friendship like ours is hard to explain,
It’s built in the barns, the mud, and the rain,
In shared grain buckets, tack trunks, and time,
In every uphill struggle and every climb.
Because horse girls know what others don’t
That love means showing up when others won’t.
And somewhere between the hoofbeats and dust,
A forever friendship was built on trust.
