It is with sadness I announce the passing of one of our favorite little dogs, Capone. Capone and Lynn have a long list of accomplishments but I will always remember Lynn and Capone’s excitement in the Flyball ring. Lynn holding Capone back and her loud excited encouragement and tiny Capone charging down the lane. The whole team sends our deepest condolences to Lynn on the lost of this special boy. RIP sweet and spicy Capone, you will be missed by all who knew you.

We were in Albany, OR this pasr weekend for the Delta Chi Phi Toga Party Mixer hosted by Animal House and X-Fidos. It was a fabulous tournament with so many special additions! It sets a high bar for our November tournament.

We had an awesome weekend. We had THREE debuts: two new dogs - Harper and Lucky (half siblings) – and one new dog-handler team - Rhandee and Pearl (Pearl debuted with Auntie Eleza in May).

We broke 16 seconds for the first time in 2 years, with two* of the dogs running in only their 2nd/3rd tournaments (Baloo, Blue, Dare*, Cricket*). Thanks for the push, Run Free!

And we brought home a bunch of titles!!!!

This past weekend the MRR went racing at the Silverstreaks tournament in Lodi. Teams all ran great with first place finishes for all 3 teams both days. We had tow green dogs make their debut in the lanes. Jane’s amazing girl Cricket, was rock solid taking all the new things in stride. She was consistent and fast and looked great. Our second dog debuting was the mighty girl Pearl at jay over 4 pounds she is a sight to see in the lanes. Congratulations to them both for their successful debuts. We had quite a few dogs earn titles. Congrats to all the team members who earned new titles.

This past weekend the team spent the weekend racing in Madera. The team has been working hard as we have a lot of young dogs and once again the hard work has paid off. Huge congratulations to Cosmo and Jolene who were both able to not only successfully run in singles but made their team debuts earring their first official points. Squish also did singles and while still needing a bit of tweaking with his box showed us for a big boy he loves the game. We also had a bunch of preflights, congrats to Toffee, Dare, Cricket, Keen, Harper, and littles Zorro and Pearl. All did some amazing baby dog things and worked in the tournament environments like pros. Both are teams ran well with two first place placements (standard 1 and 2) on Saturday and I think first and third on Sunday. Want to give a huge shout out to Bowie and his human owners John and Marlia who took the time to retrain Bowie’s box turn and all their hard work certainly paid off as Bowie looked great all weekend. Special thanks to our captain Heather as well as all the teammates who put so much hard work and dedication into training and so fun to see all that hard work pay off!
