Well… the time has come 😞 I can’t return to dog grooming 😭 What I thought was going to be a fixable back injury was confirmed otherwise, my muscular dystrophy has progressed. I thought for sure I had more time, yes everyday was a struggle but I became accustomed to the pain , I was able to suck it up because I enjoy grooming dogs. This was definitely not my plan, I’m not ready to give it up but muscular dystrophy has other plans for me. This damn disease has taken so much from me. I am very thankful that I made it 11 years , I’m so thankful that I had 11 years of spending time with everyone’s pups and you all trusted me with your babies 💚 it was a privilege that I will never forget, I got to see couples have a puppy together then marriage then human babies, you people are like family to me💜 We have also been thru the hard times of loosing these pups which I always had a hard time with , crying over “our” loss cause those pups were like mine .
I’m not sure what the future holds health wise, I can’t imagine my life without grooming 🤷‍♀️ this one hurts and it cuts real deep because I can’t do anything about it.
I’m going to miss visiting with you all 🥹 again thank you all for everything 💜🐾💜

Just an update: back is not good, still working with my dr to find out if it’s an injury or my muscular dystrophy, I completely understand that your pups need grooming, I also understand if you need to find someone else, I get it and I don’t want your pups suffering because of me.

I’ve been a bit absent lately, I injured my back pretty badly… I will be out for a while 😞
