We interrupt their usual old school games time to wish you all a Happy Labor Day. Rock and Paper have been w9rking hard ti get up to weight and did such a fab job we were able to move up theor spay/neuter date to tomorrow! They may be able to go to their forever home sooner so please get your application in asap! The MUST go home as a pair! They need to be fed 3x a day so make sure your job/life can accommodate thos schedule. They are too big and active for a playpen so they will require a safe space while acclimating to your home. Hoppy continues to slowly improve. Passed a bunch of worms yesterday. Gross but grateful. Still doing fluids and meds bit now he fights me and has much more energy. Gaining at each feed. Up to 443g. Way behind but in the right direction. Now cautiously optimistic. Keep the positive energy coming!

We have said it so many times and here is just another heartbreaking example. Little Hopscotch came to us yesterday. He (yes, he) is small for his age but was active and started eating well. And then, boom, came the vomit, lethargy, lack of appetite. So with vet guidance we gave dewormers, anti parasitics, fluids, cerenia and B12. When he didn't perk up and with all we have been through, we ran a panleuk test. So grateful it was negative but taking his quarantine very seriously and supporting him in every way we know how. He did take a small KMR feed this evening and no additional vomit since this morning. He is so fragile and we are anxiously watching his every mood. The next 24 hours are so critical and he may get worse before he gets better. Please send your positive energy for this tiny boy who has already been through so much.

Baby girl Hopscotch, (going with the old school games theme) has joined the zoo. She is about 5 weeks old and tiny for her age. Needs some fattening up, challenge accepted. She will be in quarantine for 2 weeks but she has lots of stuffies and toys for company, and me!send positive vibes her way that her bumpyriad ends her!

Rock and Paper are 8 weeks old today and vaccinated so meeting some of the upstairs cats. Here Rock is playing with resident Lynx Point Sephie. Sorry Rock, she is definitely not your mama!
