Exhibitors who sold animals through the Livestock Auction can pick up their checks on:

🕓 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
📍 Senior Fair Board Office

Important Reminders:
✅ Thank you cards must be turned in to the Extension Office before check pickup.
✅ Checks must be picked up by the exhibitor only.
✅ Please bring a valid photo ID.
✅ Checks must be cashed by November 25.
✅ Any checks not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be mailed.

T-minus 8 wake ups!

🦌 Ohio’s statewide deer archery hunting season opens on Saturday, Sept. 26. Hunters in the disease surveillance area began archery hunting on Saturday, Sept. 12. This year, hunters can use deer management permits, valid for antlerless deer, on both public hunting areas and private land throughout the season, which runs through Sunday, Feb. 7, 2027.

That Vitalize Seed Carbon Load making me want a fresh salad! Beds 1-4 almost ready for winters rest, just need to top dress #2 @, and trim out Marigolds in a few weeks.

Lots of watermelons ready to finish, maybe another 40lb+ Congo contender hiding in there. First Black Mountain variety harvested and enjoyed last night.

Got to share extra vegetables, cut flowers, and flower seed heads with 4 different neighbors today. In return lots of smiles, good conversation and some ripe pawpaws and a bag full of ones needing just a bit more time, too good. Thank you Tom Dawson! Looking forward to dessert this evening and some future trees from the seeds🍻

New pumpkin variety = lower yields but higher quality, some nice carvers in the bunch. Higher qty. to be planted next season. Only a dz. or so left to turn in the patch, private treaty only when boy's personal selection is complete😄.

The 1st Congo watermelon weighed in at only 31.8lbs, 6lbs under the record from '23 (Moon & Stars variety).

Sunflowers nailed it, lots of seeds for future plantings.
