Our receptionist Echo is moving to her new home down in South Carolina, so unfortunately, she will no longer be in the clinic! She will still be answering the phones remotely, and therefore you may hear her beautiful voice from time to time! Have a safe trip and enjoy the beautiful weather Echo! It is peak Flea Market season...but not the kind we want to explore on a Saturday morning.

Fleas are out and about and ready to explore the local pets for a quick bite! We recommend keeping your pets on flea preventatives to not only prevent the itch, but also to prevent the spread of tapeworm to your pet.
Tapeworms develop within the flea, and can only be transferred to your pet if they ingest an infected flea. Often this occurs from pets chewing on their skin, and secondarily swallowing a flea!
Are you currently fighting a flea infestation? You can help break the cycle by giving flea preventatives to all animals in the household for at MINIMUM 3 MONTHS straight. This allows the fleas to complete their lifecycle and slowly die off if they decide to bite your pet. Vacuuming floors, carpets, furniture and washing bedding items helps to remove fleas and their eggs from the pet's environment. In some cases, a professional flea and pest control service may be needed. 🐶🐱🐾
