Memorial Day weekend usually means BBQs, parades, and sometimes ER visits! This year, let's keep our pets out of the hospital. 🏥 🎟️

Remember, pets can overheat easily, and warning signs can be missed. Keep your furry friends indoors and cool during hot, humid days to prevent heatstroke. ☀️

Did you know corn cob foreign bodies are one of the most common surgeries we see during warmer months? Secure all food scraps in a trash can, away from curious pets. 🌽 🗑️

Finally, just because your pet is begging for a hot dog doesn't mean they need it! Vomiting and diarrhea will often follow. Remind guests not to feed pets or keep pets away from where food is being served. 🌭

This weekend is Memorial Day weekend which means we will be CLOSED on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th. If your pet needs medication refills, please request those TODAY to ensure we can get them filled in an appropriate timeframe.

Remember that there may be fireworks this weekend, therefore all our patient's with firework anxiety may need their medication refilled.
