🐾💜 IT’S MORE THAN A CALENDAR. IT’S A CHANCE TO SAVE A LIFE.

Your pet has a warm bed, a full belly, and someone who loves them unconditionally. They’re safe. They’re home. They’re someone’s entire world. 🥹❤️

But somewhere, there’s a dog or cat still waiting for that same chance.

At Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue, we believe every animal deserves a future filled with love, safety, and second chances.

That’s why our 2027 Calendar Contest is about so much more than adorable faces and cute photos. 📸

Every entry, every vote, every special day reserved, and every calendar purchased helps us SAVE LIVES.

💜 Provides lifesaving veterinary care and medications.

🐾 Helps supply food and essentials for animals in foster care.

As a 100% foster-based rescue, we depend on our community to make these second chances possible.

Behind every animal we rescue is a story that could have ended differently. Your support helps us give that story a new beginning. 🥹

Fostering doesn't just save one life -- it saves two. The life of the dog you open your home to... and the life of the dog that now has space in the shelter because of you ❤️‍🩹

It may only be a few months for you. But for them, it can be the difference between euthanasia and having enough time to find their forever home 🥹

As a 100% foster-based organization, we don't have a brick-and-mortar facility to keep dogs until adoption -- every dog we save from the shelter is thanks to a foster that stepped up!

Meet Mishka, the comeback pup with tons of love and an underbite to match, at Pet PetSmart 10600 Melody Drive, Northglenn Saturday, 10/24 from 12-3:30pm. Adoption fee $200.

Little Mishka was previously adopted and returned when she developed an immune-related skin condition. She had a rough go of it as her situation was not immediately treated, losing a lot of fur on her head and body until she got into a new shelter with better vet care. Her past may have left scars on her face, but her joyful puppy nature and loving heart remain unbroken and pure!

Mishka has so many positive traits - from being loving and loyal, to happily playing fetch with you in the back yard until your arm gets tired.  She will even help you with your gardening by sticking her entire face into the watering pail, checking your sprinklers, shredding loose sticks into mulch, and frolicking in leaves. She is also a budding geologist who likes to collect rocks and roll them around the yard! 🤣

She enjoys other canine friends and has done wonderfully with the two resident dogs, as well as other temporary puppy friends in the house.  However, in her excitement to make new playmates, she can come on a little strong and not read social cues well, so proper introductions are best to make sure all parties are happy.

Mishka is good on the leash and chooses to be a “stop and smell the roses” kind of gal. She was initially pretty fearful of cars and loud noises, but that has vastly improved since coming into foster care. However, her new family should be prepared to be patient and encouraging with her as she continues to gain confidence. Treats also help!

After a day of wrestling, chewing on bones, neighborhood walks, and playing fetch, she is ready to curl up on the couch for a good cuddle with her people. There, you will be blessed by her adorable underbite, soft, gentle snores, and awkwardly adorable crooked ears.

Mishka’s young life has already been filled with so many ups and downs, but she is ready and deserving to find a family who will love and cherish her forever.

600,000 cats + dogs are euthanized every year 😢 Not because they're bad. Not because they're broken. But because there just isn't enough space.

Registering to foster doesn't mean committing to forever. It means opening your home to an animal in need and giving them the time and safety to find their forever home ❤️‍🩹

As a 100% foster-based rescue, we can't take dogs that no one steps up for. Help us save their lives. Register to foster TODAY at rmpuppyrescue.org/foster
