Here's our sweet and smart Butter Crunch checking on the health of our hot water heater, just as a precaution. It's fine! But turns out one of our neighbors had theirs malfunction and flood, so we've been advised to run fans for a couple of days near common walls. What that will look like we aren't entirely sure yet. At best it will be windy kittens in here, and at worst we may have to run our appointments "curbside". We will know more when we open tomorrow and you can feel free to call us before coming over, if you have a Monday or Tuesday appointment.

It looks like another upcoming day of Comcast outages is expected tomorrow. Actually, today was not that bad, just a bit early morning. Thanks for your patience! Interesting pregnant mom cat x-ray. Count the skulls you see to predict how many kittens!

We have been notified that tomorrow, Thursday July 23, Comcast will be working on the phone/ internet on our street. It will be intermittent and likely all day. We may or may not have interruptions and we will not know. Our phone won't ring. If you can't get through, and it is urgent or an emergency, please contact the ER at 413-665-4911. Warm day outside! Anyone like ice cream? Natali's babes are one month old today!

It is the perfect time to wish Good Luck to our Jenna as she enters Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine next month!!! Jenna has been with us a couple of years, and her exceptional focus, smarts, love for animals and science all led her to be accepted to 5 veterinary schools on her first attempt applying! Jenna is a Pioneer Valley local, so we will be sure to follow her career path! You've got this, Jenna! She's taking our pride and best wishes with her, but Harry has to stay.

The Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Centerhas started a new fund called the Reese fund, which will be used for the most neglected cats and dogs that need advanced care. TODAY! Fundraising has started and you can donate online, buy a Reese fund t-shirt online, or drop off canned or dry cat or dog food at the shelter today. We will be accepting food donations all week here at The Cat Hospital for the Reese fund, so if you are no where near Springfield just stop by and we will get it to them! The food will be stocking a pet food pantry so that people will be able to continue to feed their own pets, and keep them in their homes.
The goal is $10,000 for today, and they are half way there! Thanks for considering.
