For those who don’t know me, I’m Maria, the face behind Sassy Dog Fashions. ❤️

Before designing luxury dog collars, I spent years living in Paris, France, where I studied the French language, business, and French accounting. Living in one of the fashion capitals of the world gave me a deep appreciation for timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and beautiful design. The influence of elegant French fashion is reflected in my statement pieces, bringing a touch of Parisian style to dogs around the world. The service industry taught me how to serve people.

When I create a collar, I don’t just see a pretty accessory. My business and accounting background naturally has me breaking it down into every detail—the materials, craftsmanship, hardware, crystals, and the true cost of creating something that’s made to last.

But the numbers aren’t what keep me going.

The greatest reward is learning about the dogs wearing my collars all over the world. Every photo and message reminds me that something handmade in my Pennsylvania workshop has become a small part of someone’s family.
