Sorry for the delay on update. I had to take a second to process.

We lost this baby. Under all those scabs was severe infection. Lacerations all over his hips where he had nothing but skin protecting him because he was so emaciated. After fluids, antibiotics, parasite treatment it wasn’t enough.

He was eating well and comfortable. Sometimes when they feel like they don’t have to fight anymore they let go.

Sometimes what we do just isn’t enough. My heart breaks for this baby. But all I can think is at least he wasn’t starving, cold, and in pain. 😭💔

There’s always the ups and the downs and right now this one is just majorly down. 😭😭

We are still trying to catch the fox in North Vernon. It will NOT go in the traps we have set and it will not let us close enough to catch it. One thing about foxes is they are so smart but sometimes we just wish they would realize we are just trying to help. 😭

We are meeting this property owner now.

Again we hate to ask but it will be the same treatment plan for this baby as the last one. Meds will be needed! Our goal is $80.00 in donations today to cover just the one med!

On this Labor Day do you think we can cover his meds?

If not, he will still receive we just like to replace when used so we have it for the next one!

But can we achieve our goal!

Has mom been up with me all night in between kitten feeding?

Yes…

I might have had 3 seizures Saturday & 2 Sunday. I don’t feel any different. I still want to sharpen my claws on everything, toss my bed in the air, and most important bring the meat on! I’m an endless eating machine.

If you could please keep positive thoughts and prayers coming our way.

I also want to say thank you to someone who sent us 2 more bags of dog food and pedialyte and puppy pads. I use ALOT of puppy pads because of my seizures I make a big mess everytime. So thank you for helping mom with that!

It’s finally Friday!

It’s been a LONG week.

So we currently took in 7 bottle baby kittens. The past couple weeks. Yep it’s that time of year. Luckily the finders have agreed that they will be taking them once weaned as well it’s so hard to get them adopted out and we cannot be stuck with so many cats. 💔

With that being said 1 passed less than 24 hours of intake. And then another is about to pass now out of what is called failure to thrive in kittens. This is something I didn’t even know was real until I started working at a vets office.

This kitten is the same litter as the bigger ones but yet not even 1/2 their size. She is TINY. I am talking weighing and size of a 1 week old kitten. We are praying hard but it is not looking good.

I have been giving updates on my personal page about the kittens. But figured you guys would like to see them too.

And added 2 more squirrels added to the group yesterday.

Ripper update. No seizure yesterday and someone is getting playful!! ❤️❤️ Eating like a piggie. We are now out of chicken and livers. Store this afternoon it is AGAIN. Lol.

If you would like to send some chicken or flea meds that is our top thing in need right now! It would be SO appreciated! We hate asking for him but have grown to know that we HAVE to. We cannot do this alone.

Our little man, Ripper, could really use some extra prayers. 💔🐾

Unfortunately, Ripper had another seizure yesterday, and this one was very violent. It’s so hard watching this sweet boy go through something like that, especially when all we want is for him to keep getting stronger.

Please keep our little man in your thoughts and prayers. We’re hoping for better days ahead for Rip. ❤️‍🩹

We are also VERY low on dog food and puppy pads right now. With so many mouths to feed and animals to care for, these are two things we go through incredibly fast.
