UPDATE on a Felony Animal Cruelty Case! Today 6/15/26 Brandon J. Wall from Niagara Falls NY was sentenced to prison following his guilty verdict back in April! Further details when available from authorities. If you abuse an animal in our community, you get arrested and go to jail!

The puppy survived! NFPD rescued the puppy and rushed her to the NSPCA where medical staff were able save her life!! Thank you to the NSPCA for always being there for the dogs of Niagara Falls!

Niagara Falls Man, identified as Terrance Elders arrested for felony Animal Cruelty!

Law enforcement received a call around 5:54pm on June 10th after reports of an animal being harmed on Ontario Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Whoever knows anything about this puppy found on the 800 block of 19th St PLEASE message D3. This puppy is estimated to be 2-3 weeks old and was abandoned with severe injuries and left to die all alone!! Please contact D3 with ANY information!

Last night 04/30/26 someone abandoned this girl on the 1800 block of 18th St, she was abandoned and tied to a pole!! No microchip or ID!!! She is scared to death and cowers away when anyone even tries talking and comforting her! UPDATE!!!!!! ARREST MADE!!

Joseph DeRosa from Niagara Falls has been charged with multiple counts of Animal Cruelty!

2/19/26 the NFPD responded to a complaint of an abandoned dog inside an out of service/empty church on Niagara Street. During investigation it was discovered a squatter had unlawfully entered the church and abandoned the dog without food or water. The dog, a very friendly, adult male tan and white Pitbull without ID was secured and transported to the CNF dog shelter.
