Progress Pic Thursday! An 8x10 double memorial portrait 🕊️🩷 I’m loving how this one is turning out so far! White fur can be some of the trickiest fur to draw as there are sooo many colors hidden in it. Surprisingly, I have yet to use an actual “white” pencil on this piece!

Hi all! I had a big jump in followers this week, so I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself to those who haven’t met me yet! A little “face behind the artwork” thing lol.

My name is Daily Ray, and I am a self-taught pet portrait artist! I specialize in chalk pastels, but have recently taken a liking to colored pencils as well, and even acrylic paints on occasion.

I love taking some of your favorite photos of your fur babies and turning them into a forever memory for you, bringing your pet to life on paper and trying to capture all the little details that make your pet special. 🩷 The best part, though, is learning about so many loved pets and hearing all of your heartwarming stories! 🥰

Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you so much for being here. Even if you don’t plan on ordering and are just here to watch me grow, improve, and support my art, it means more than you know 🥹But everyone has to start somewhere, right? 🥰
