Some Lil boys favorite toys are cars and trucks, some balls, or a box. This Lil boy, Rudy has decided that a rolled up Bass Pro blanket is the best thing in the house. He prances thru the house so proud of his new find. 😊😊 This boy makes me smile.
Rudy update. He's doing very good, so good that the vet put his appointment off until December!

Bowie wants to tell you about the new product at the store. Roofus (funny thing, Ruth's dad called her Rufus. The name brought back great memories of Pops). It's all natural, cruelty free, eco-friendly with no fillers. This included dental wipes, eye & ear wipes and shampoo!

This handsome guy decided to give the Dog Daze family a little scare tonight.
From Ruth:
Here with Rudy. He was doing his kitty pitty scratching in the lawn, when all of a sudden he couldn't put any weight on his back left leg. We checked for a bee or stinger in his foot... nothing. So after he was heavy panting, and seeming uncomfortable. Off to Cornell we went. 😞 Heres hoping this is an expensive bee sting. The triage tech, said she thinks his left leg looks a little swollen. Waiting to be seen.
Saw the vet, Rudy pulled his way thru Cornell like nothing ever happened. The vet was amazed at how good he's doing after reading his chart. Of course there was nothing "seemingly" wrong, she said she couldn't even ask us to do xrays or anything MRI. She did increase his pain meds (she was shocked with how little he took 🙂). We were worried that the cancer spread, she felt his leg, listened to him.. Everything sounds good 😊. She found a callus on his paw pad. Then asked if this muscular, cancer beating tough guy was that sensitive that a callus would bother him and cause all of this. The answer is YES! Rudy's a soft souled boy.

David and I had the pleasure of going to Spirit Animal Sanctuary yesterday. We met with Barbara Getman Barbara Getman and Linda today. It was nice to see all the pups. We took about 20 bags of food up (from a previous donation, thank you Natural Balance and Teddy Sylvio). The dogs were excited when we first arrived, but settled right down.
We want to thank everyone that has donated to this wonderful sanctuary, your kindness and generosity is and will make a pup wag its tail. 😊
Spirit's having a rummage sale this weekend... in case you want to go on a little treasure hunt.

B**r and a handsome guy, who could say no to this face. 🥰 Otis stopped by to get some treats and food. So he filled in for Elsa. 😊 New food, Edgard and Cooper. And new dog beverages. Stop by to see what's new at Dog Daze.

Linda from spirit_animal_sanctuary drew the winning tickets for our raffles. Thank you to all of our customers who participated. Thank you to everyone who donated.
We will be continuing with the food drive. A $20 donation will buy a 50 lb bag of dog that will help the dog at Spirit.
