Lost Mansfield CT

🎉💥Yaya has been found!🎉💥

This little girl is one tough cookie! There was one sighting called in to Mansfield Animal Control by a nice woman named Ashley on Tuesday morning on Rte 32 by Forest Road which was a mile from where she went missing the day before. James come out with his tracking dog Apollo and tracked her on the trail incase she returned there and then out to the road. Ben came out and flew his thermal drone in the area of the sighting but there was no sign of her. Her owners Zhenzhen and Yang, CTDGRV Sharon and a former lost dog owner Mark put up posters and passed out handouts everywhere! This morning the call we needed came in! Someone saw the poster and called the owner right away. Yaya was walking up Forest Rd. They stayed a long distance from her and just slowly followed her in their car. The owners got there and Sharon told them how to stay calm. They saw her and stopped and opened the car door. It took a minute but then she ran to them and jumped right into the car!
Thank you to her owners Zhenzhen and Yang who never gave up and spent countless hours doing everything to find her, to Mark for going out everyday and passing out handouts, talking to everyone he saw and flying his personal drone, to Ryan a very concerned resident who was constantly checking the trails and keeping in touch with Sharon, to Mary for giving us permission to fly the drone on UCONN property, to Ben for flying his thermal drone, to James and his dog Apollo for tracking, to Nicole from Killingly Staples for always providing the posters, to all the people in the community that were watching out for her, to the wonderful people Kevin and Laura that saw her this morning and did all the right things to keep her safe, to Mansfield Animal Control for informing us of the first and only other sighting and to CTDGRV Sharon for putting up posters, calling in all the resources and helping the owners every step of the way. Welcome home Yaya! ❤️🐾

One sighting Tuesday morning 11/18 on Rte. 32 between Rte. 44/Rte. 195. Please keep eyes open.

This little girl ran from the trail at Shelter Falls off of Birch Road and has not returned. Please call in sightings immediately to (510)356-8386. She can be shy so please do not try to chase her.

STOLEN!!! HARTFORD CT

💕Suga Momma was found and is home💕
Someone found her and turned her in to the Hartford police!

Stolen Dog Alert – Hartford, CT
Issued by CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteers, Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates.

We are asking for the public’s help in locating a female spayed bully from Hartford. The family is heartbroken and simply wants their beloved puppy returned home safely.

We are offering two options to the public:
1. Reward for Information Leading to Arrest and conviction.
If someone has information about the whereabouts of the dog and the identity of the person who currently has her—but that person does not return the dog voluntarily—Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a $5,000 reward to any individual who provides information leading to an arrest and prosecution for the theft of the dog. Tips must be reported directly to Hartford Animal Control.
2. No Consequences for Voluntary Return
If the person who currently has the puppy returns her voluntarily to either the family or Hartford Animal Control, there will be no legal consequences. Our only goal is to bring this puppy home.

We urge everyone in the area to share this notice widely. Your help could make the difference in reuniting this family with their missing dog.

This sweet girl was stolen by three men driving a Black SUV last night where they jumped the fence and took her from her yard! They actually took another pup too, but that one was found early this morning. She has a heart murmur and is on medication. Her family has been searching frantically for her and is begging the Public to help find her. These men could just dump her or try to sell her! Missing..Bristol CT!!!!!

⭐️🦃Thanksgiving Miracle!🦃⭐️

Audrey was found safe this morning after 17 days.

Bristol ACO Ray came into work on Thanksgiving morning to a message from a man who saw a white dog near some solar panel fields near where the family lives. ACO Ray went to the area sure enough he saw her inside the fence that surrounded the solar panels. He called the owners. They came over and Audrey saw them and came running to them and they were able to get her out from under the fence. They were space is small enough for a dog to get in and out of but a little tight for a human.

It is such a miracle.

this family has never stopped looking for Audrey. We don’t think she was there the whole time but she was certainly coming and going. She looks really great for being missing for 17 days. But they will certainly have her checked out by the vet. We are so thankful that Audrey is home. Thank you so much to ACO Ray . He’s the hero today.

Lost..Meriden CT......

Update! Brian and Brandon are home safe! This morning an employee of Statewide Auto Body on the Berlin Turnpike heard dogs barking in the woods and called Meriden Animal Control. MAC officers, Officer Kline and Officer Bacon went out to the area to investigate and were led to the location by their barking. The family was called and came out to help secure the dogs. They were very cold and scared but when they saw their pack they became relieved. They knew they were going home. Many thanks to so many people. Thank you to the person who called. Thank you to our wonderful Meriden Animal Control officers who are always there when needed. Thank you to CTDGRV volunteers, Emma, Linda, John and Carol who helped with posters and flyers to get the word out and searched woods. Desmonds Army for their support. Community members who shared the post and cared. Together they are now safe and home. They will go to the vet for a check up and their family is looking into gps collars. Thank you! Lost in car crash.. .. BOZRAH CT

REUNITED! Someone saw the dog on Ring camera and called owner. She went out and called dog and dog came to her. Christine, the owner, after being in an accident managed to go out and look for Turbo several times throughout the day and night. Thanks to all the people who checked their cameras, the person who left their garage open with food, and to CTDGRV Bill for hiking the area, CTDGRV Kim for making up posters, and to CTDGRV Deb for advising the family. Welcome home Turbo!

Missing in Bozrah. This large Doberman/Hound Mix is missing from the Rte 163/Fitchville Rd area after his mom was in a bad car accident and he ran from the scene. He is VERY SKITTISH. Do NOT chase or call out. Please call in sightings with details on when and where you saw him. Let's get him home soon!

Missing! Westbrook CT

⭐️⭐️REUNITED⭐️⭐️

Norang the Westbrook shiba is in the house safe and sound! With the help of ACO Caroline going over to the area helping with the trap and giving guidance working aside DGR volunteer Melanie the owners were able to trap her in the garage. ACO Caroline went over to help get her out of the garage in her travel crate and safe into the house! Great job to all including the community for reporting all sightings!

Missing in Westbrook:
Lost from cypress cemetery after being attacked by an off leash dog.
She may be injured. And she is most likely very scared. That was very traumatic.
If you see her, we ask that you DO NOT call out to her or chase her. For her safety please just call the number on the flyer immediately.
Let’s get this girl back home safe.

💥Molly has been found!💥
We received several signings in the last few hours, and Molly‘s owner Alice went into the woods behind the person‘s house and her son John came in from the woods on the other side. John was able to use calming signals instructed by CTDGRV Sharon and was able to get her. When they saw her last night, she ran from both of them and he said the calming signals is what worked. A trap was set by CTDGRV Sharon but thankfully we didn’t need it as there are several skunks there. Molly had gotten sprayed last night and is headed for a bath!
Thank you to everyone that called in sightings especially to Allison for posting the sighting last night and the neighbor that called in the final sighting! Thank you to Molly’s owner’s John and Alice who didn’t stop looking, to Plainfield ACO Karen for helping search and to CTDGRV Sharon for helping search and setting a trap.
