I decided to post this as it may help to filter clients who my business is not a good fit for. I do not service homes who have outdoor cats or indoor/outdoor cats. I did have a client whose cat was indoor/outdoor when I first started in business. I used to keep him indoors when I watched him. He came home wounded prior to my sitting him-I had to rush him in for emergency vet care. After years of sitting for him & getting quite attached I got the call I had dreaded. He had gone out & never returned. It broke my heart & I will not sit for outdoor cats again. Not only do I personally feel it is not safe for them, it also voids my insurance.
