Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone as our veterinary interns officially completed their internship program and transition into their new roles as Associate Veterinarians with our practice!

Over the past year, they have demonstrated exceptional dedication, compassion, resilience, and a commitment to providing outstanding care for our patients and clients. Their growth as clinicians and team members has been inspiring to watch, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.

We are adding veterinarians to our staff and are looking for a full time Equine Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that possesses a strong equine background and exceptional handling skills to learn and be involved with the medical side of equine care. The applicant must have a broad knowledge of equine husbandry and a basic knowledge of veterinary medications. Specific tasks may include but are not limited to: restraining anxious/difficult horses, jogging/lunging horses, performing basic laboratory tests, taking/assisting with radiographs, horse care, barn work and driving work vehicles. Rotating on call schedule split with other technicians. Weekly schedule is fairly consistent, though daily hours do vary. Possibility of 1-2 weekend days a month working caring for our horses/patients in our barns. Work hours can vary seasonally, with spring and summer being the busiest. Salary depends on qualifications. Many benefits offered for full time employees, health/dental/vision, uniform allowance, 401k and more. Must be over the age of 18, have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and criminal background check are required. Due to a family emergency, Dr. Currid had to go home to Ireland so we have to postpone the winter lunch and learn that was scheduled for this Sunday at Black Dog Tavern in Putnam, CT. Everyone who had registered was sent a text with the new date of Saturday, April 11th. Please reply back if you haven’t yet to let us know if you are still able to attend. If you hadn’t registered and April 11th works for you, we would love to have you join us as we do have some spots that have opened up. Please call or text the office if you would like to attend. It is $30 and includes a buffet lunch and raffles! 🐴
