This Labor Day, we're celebrating the people who make Animal Clinic Northview what it is. From our techs and assistants to our doctors, client care team, and everyone in between, thank you for the early mornings, the long shifts, and the care you pour into every patient. 💙

And to our clients: long weekends are for barbecues, family time, and soaking up the last days of summer, but accidents don't take a holiday. Our emergency team is here for you and your pets all weekend if you need us.

Hypothyroidism can cause weight gain, skin issues, and low energy, but regular exams can help us catch it early. Be sure to keep annual exams at the top of your to-do list when your pet is due for a checkup. 🐾

This is the kind of update we love to see! 💙

After Nova fell while chasing her ball in the backyard, she began crying and couldn’t use her back legs. Her family rushed her to Animal Clinic Northview, where our team was ready to help.

Now, Nova is back in her backyard, running again and growing stronger every day! She isn’t quite at 100% yet, but she has already made incredible progress.

Thank you to Nova’s family for trusting the ACN team with her care and for sharing this wonderful recovery update with us. Keep it up, Nova! 🐾

Answer: An earring! 💎

That's right. This pet swallowed an earring, which was visible on X-rays thanks to its metal components.

Foreign object ingestions are something we see more often than you might think. Jewelry, socks, toys, rocks, and all sorts of household items can quickly turn into a veterinary emergency.
