We’ve been working with this Doodle on lunging at his senior stepbrother anytime he even remotely enters his space bubble. 😬

Our process:

1️⃣ Give him a designated safe space where we can manage the environment and keep his stepbrothers from invading his bubble.

2️⃣ Teach a solid Place with duration.

3️⃣ Start proofing Place with his stepbrothers moving around nearby.

The biggest piece? Learning to anticipate the reaction before the lunge happens—watching his body language and listening to those little vocalizations that tell us he’s getting uncomfortable, then redirecting him before he escalates.

But training goes both ways. We also have to be reasonable and manage his senior stepbrother so he isn’t constantly wandering into a space we’ve specifically taught the Doodle is his safe zone.

We still have about 7 sessions to go, but the progress has been GREAT.

And we’re doing it without e-collars, prongs, harsh physical corrections, or fear-based training. Structure, management, communication, repetition, and reinforcement. 🐾

And yes… that last picture is absolutely the Doodle giving me the “FU” stare for ruining his plans. 😂

Congratulations to everyone who earned a spot on a 53-man roster! 🏈👏 That moment represents years of work, sacrifice, discipline, and a whole lot that most people never get to see.

And to those who were waived and are now waiting to find out what’s next—we’re thinking about you too.

There’s nothing easy about sitting in that uncomfortable space between what was and what’s next. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as you wait for the next phone call, the next opportunity, and the next chapter.

May there be peace in the waiting, patience in the uncertainty, and confidence that your story isn’t finished yet. 🙏🏽

Awesome afternoon at the Browns Fieldhouse with fellow vendors and service providers! 🧡🤎

Erien, our Admin, and I finally got to put some faces to names, catch up with old friends, enjoy a great lunch, and—as always—be absolutely spoiled by the Browns.

The Browns organization does a phenomenal job of recognizing and thanking the “little guys” behind the scenes—the vendors, businesses, and service providers who help make the off-field world a little easier for their players, coaches, and staff.

We’re incredibly grateful to be a small part of that community and never take the opportunity to serve this organization and its people for granted.

MEET WINSTON 🐾

Winston is an 18-month-old, 35 lb Labradoodle who was surrendered to Doggie Concierge for training and fostering after an unexpected family medical emergency made continuing his training impossible.

Winston is a sweet, affectionate boy who is still learning how to confidently navigate the world. He’s a dog who needs structure, socialization, and continued life-skills training—not unlimited freedom before he’s ready for it.

Winston can become overwhelmed in busy or unfamiliar environments, so he’ll thrive with a family who provides predictable routines, clear boundaries, positive reinforcement, and continued opportunities to build confidence at his own pace.

His ideal home:
• Children middle-school age or older
• An older, confident, socially appropriate dog who can model good behavior and set appropriate boundaries when Winston gets pushy over toys or resources
• A family committed to maintaining his training and providing structure
• Cats are okay!

Winston rides beautifully in the car, loves to snuggle, and is an absolute fetch fanatic. He knows his basic manners, walks politely on leash, and has made great progress during his time with us.

Winston doesn’t need a perfect family. He needs a consistent one willing to continue helping him become the confident adult dog we know he can be.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

🐾 Proof of established, long-term veterinary care for current and/or previous pets and an account in good standing with your veterinarian
🐾 All animals currently in the household must be spayed/neutered
🐾 Adopters must commit to follow-up training sessions with Winston’s trainer, which are included in his adoption fee

Rome has somehow grown to 70 lbs. in just ONE month… but thankfully, he’s still the same lovable wiggle butt I remember. 😂

Nick, prayers and best wishes as you step into this next chapter of life away from the field.

It was an absolute privilege and pleasure to serve you all those seasons. We had a firsthand view of your character and work ethic, and we were fortunate enough to walk alongside you through the injuries, the rehabs, the comebacks, and everything in between.

Through it all, you never treated us like hired help. You treated us as equals—with kindness, generosity, and respect. That says more about the man you are than anything you ever accomplished on a football field.

You impacted so many people, both on and off the field. And while your career may not have ended exactly the way you hoped, somewhere along the way you became something even bigger than the player: a role model and a testament to resolve, character, humility, and what it means to keep grinding when life knocks you down.

In Athens, you are a legend.
In Cleveland, you are a legend.

And to our Doggie Concierge family and company, you will always be one of the people who helped make us what we are today.

This is my dog, Noodles. He’s not a service dog, and I’m not trying to make him one.

I like doing life with him and taking him places when I can, but I also fully understand that he can’t go everywhere—and that’s okay.

This particular Target didn’t have a sign posted, so I put a towel in the cart, put Noodles in, grabbed what I needed, and headed to checkout. I know my dog. He’s extremely social, loves everyone, and absolutely would have been a distraction to every person who walked past if I had him on the ground.

While I was paying, an employee politely explained their dog policy. I thanked her, paid for my stuff, and we left.

No argument. No “he’s a service dog” when he isn’t. No fake vest. No entitlement. No trying to find a loophole.

Does Noodles support me emotionally? Absolutely. I love the little dude. That doesn’t make him an emotional support animal, and it certainly doesn’t make him a service dog.

Sometimes the answer is simply, “Got it. Thanks for letting me know,” and you move on with your day.

What a great day at training camp! 🏈🐾

We had an awesome time meeting new staff and WAGs, welcoming some new Doggie Concierge clients, and catching up with familiar faces and longtime friends.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to support this incredible community—both the two-legged and four-legged members! 🐶🧡🤎

A great day was had by all, and we’re looking forward to another exciting season ahead!

Since 2017, we’ve had the privilege of serving the Browns family—working with 50+ players, coaches, and personnel along the way. 🏈🤎🧡

This marks our second year being invited to camp as part of Football Friends & Family, and it’s an experience we don’t take for granted.

When you spend most of your time working behind the scenes, you don’t always get the opportunity to see your clients in their element. Getting to step onto the other side and watch them do what they do best is always pretty cool.

And my kids? They definitely don’t mind tagging along. 😂

Grateful for the relationships, the trust, and another year with the Browns family.
