Welcome Olive to RSK9T ! 🐾🔥
Olive is a sweet Poodle–Pyrenees mix, around 9 months old. She was adopted, so we’re not sure of all her specs — but what we do know is she’s full of personality and ready to learn! 🐶 She’s already a confident girl with a ton of potential👏🏽

We’ll be focusing on setting clear boundaries, leash training, and obedience. She’s a big jumper, so we’ll be channeling that energy by giving her a job and working out some flaws.⚡️

Our evaluation quickly turned into Day 1 of training, so we didn’t get to snap many pics — but progress photos and videos will be coming soon! 🎥✨

Here at Ruff Start K9 Training, we’re confident Olive will grow into a well-rounded, confident canine alongside her amazing family. 💛

We’d love to officially welcome Chi to RSK9T! 💛 She’s a 4 year old German Shepherd/ Aussie mix 🙌🏽
We’ve been working together for about a month now, training with intention and focus. We haven’t shared many updates lately — sometimes putting the phone away to give a pup our full attention is far more important than social media.

That said, the progress Chi has made deserves some recognition‼️💪🏽
She’s been working through leash training, obedience, and most importantly, her reactivity.

These photos were taken at a dog park (which I typically don’t recommend), but in this case, it was a perfect controlled environment where we could call the shots and help Chi build positive associations through structure, trust, and calm exposure.

I’m also extremely proud of her parents — the accountability, consistency, and effort they’ve put in for Chi have played a huge role in her progress. Teamwork like this is what truly transforms the relationship between dog and handler. 👏🏽

Meet Darby! 💛 This 3 yo English Lab has been nipping out of boredom & barking for attention. During today’s eval, we built a game plan to tackle her recall, separation anxiety, and structure at home. 💪🏼

💡Fun fact: separation anxiety can often come from too much attention and not enough independence! Practicing short periods alone helps build calm, confident dogs.

RSK9T’s goal is to bring peace to your home — every eval includes one hour to talk, plan, and set your dog up for success. 💫

Most dog owners think the leash is just for walks… but it’s so much more than that. This simple tool is the key to structure, communication, and control.

Here’s how:

➡️ Dog acting crazy indoors? Put them on a leash.
