We operated on Nessie’s eyes this afternoon. She was loosing weight. She had been eating but I guess it wasn’t enough 😞 and her weight had gone down.

I will post more later tomorrow as she recovers overnight. We aren’t out of the woods, but I feel better knowing both of her ruptured eyes have been removed. She will get some good cuddle time tonight ❤️

I just feel awful for her situation. The other eye is going to rupture here soon. She is still not stable enough for anesthesia but she is showing me she STILL wants to fight HARD for her life.
I am just so worried about the eyes…

😰😰CAUTION GRAPHIC😰😰 TW for eye damage, no blood but just some gnarly pictures.

We hope with everything we can save her. She is not stable enough for surgery so she is getting critical care at my vet and my home until we can proceed with the removal of both of her eyes. She will be completely blind and unfortunately there is no chance of saving the eyes. Both eyes have already been punctured/opened and at this point we are beyond saving the eyes. Now it’s just trying to save her little life from the infections tearing through her body.

An update on our sweet Kodiak. He is just a spicy little ball of fear but he is realizing we are here to help him. He seems to be eating and doing well now that we have been treating him with antibiotics, eye drops, and some medications for his GI.
So happy we were able to help him out, I can only help out so many right now ❤️ we are trying our best as always!

Poor baby 😞 little Kodiak ended up as a local emergency clinic after trying to drown in a pool. He is coming in with a lot of problems and just an overall unhealthy look to him. We will provide a little TLC and get him in the right foot to find a forever home ❤️

My tiny babies get all the attention but I haven’t posted our older kittens available for adoption ❤️ Celeste is 7 months old and one of the sweetest babies once she gets to know you. You can tell how much she loves the attention.

The stress of everything these last few months have made it hard to get these babies out. Hard to post, hard to get attention! But I’m hoping to get on a good foot here soon 🥰

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, f***l checked, dewormed, and chipped. Ready to go to her new home ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Feeding time for little Aspen. Still on the bottle but is working her way to solid food like her adopted brother Denver. She is growing big and strong despite her tiny size.
